Three events, three venues, same day! While all the three events I was invited to were of great value, I was wondering how I would manage to attend all of them on the same day, albeit different timings. It meant leaving home in the morning and back late at night, not a usual thing since I left my corporate job!
My dear friend picked me up for the first event in the morning. On our way, she casually remarked, “I got off my flight at 4 am today.”
And that opened my eyes wide. “And here I am, leaving home after a good night’s rest, and still complaining!”
Lessons I learnt –
Planning is everything. Plan out your entire day, by the hour. I planned by the minute and made the most of all the three events, professional and voluntary.
Check if there is any commitment which might be a waste of time, and politely decline it, even if it sounds like fun.
Do not be bogged down by FOMO (fear of missing out).
If we tell ourselves we have “so much to do and so little time”, so shall it be. But … go to point 5.
My friend above says, “We actually have so much time.” She runs her own business, travels every other day, does active hands-on volunteering, holds honorary positions in organisations etc etc …
I guess that’s what friends are for. A single dialogue from them can change your perspective and energize you!
I genuinely admired what you’ve accomplished here. The outline is elegant, your written content fashionable, however, you seem to have acquired some unease about what you wish to present going forward. Undoubtedly, I’ll revisit more often, similar to I have nearly all the time, in case you sustain this ascent.

Good one ….. Prioritizing tasks, setting realistic goals, and minimizing distractions will make significant difference in our schedule. Great read
Thank you, Anupama for visiting my website! Hope to see you here more often!
