The last few days were crazy busy with work, service and fun, with a lot of learning and gratitude!
- I spent the better part of Saturday attending a training programme on befriending/coaching the underprivileged.
- Mentoring children on a sultry hot afternoon, I wondered if the happiest person there wasn’t me, with the children giving so much joy in spite of their limited resources.
- Visiting an old couple on another humid mid-morning made me wonder how blessed many of us are, to be able to move around without physical or mental barriers.
- A storytelling commitment took up a lot of time, compressing thirty odd pages into twelve minutes, another learning experience.
- I had the opportunity to master the art of cooking copious amounts of food for sharing with friends on multiple events.
- Learnt about abecedarian poetry and penned a few lines!
- Ended the week with a rapturous and captivating concert of Hindustani and Carnatic music by the renowned Maestro Jayateerth Mevundi and Abhishek Raghuram at the majestic Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay! A little tired this Monday morning but very happy …
